Hey there, fellow theatre lovers and chocolate enthusiasts! I'm Livvy, also known as Olivia, and I'm beyond excited to take you behind the scenes of our production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." As a member of the ensemble, I'm popping up on stage with lots of different roles and dances and let me tell you – it's been an absolute blast!
First things first – let's talk about my favourite role to dance: being a squirrel. There's something so exhilarating about embodying these mischievous little creatures and bringing their antics to life on stage. From scampering around to causing chaos, it's a role that's as fun as it is energetic.
But if I had to pick a favourite scene, it would have to be "More of Him to Love." Trust me when I say this scene is an absolute riot – it's funny, it's full-on, and it's guaranteed to bring the whole theatre to tears of laughter. From the hilarious antics of Augustus to the infectious energy of the ensemble, it's a moment you won't want to miss.
Now, let's talk chocolate. My ultimate favourite? A Wonka bar, of course! There's something truly magical about biting into that deliciously sweet treat and imagining myself in Willy Wonka's fantastical world. But if I can't get my hands on one, a Daim bar is definitely the next best thing – that crunchy caramel goodness gets me every time!
This might be my first time performing with CAODS, but I'm already hoping it won't be my last. The team has been incredibly welcoming, and I've had the opportunity to meet so many talented people. It's been an absolute joy to be a part of this production, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me next.
Dance has always been my passion, and I've been at it since I was five years old. Joining CAODS has given me the chance to showcase my love for it on stage, and I couldn't be more grateful. And speaking of favourite characters, Augustus takes the cake for me. Every performance, song, and dance he's in is an absolute riot, and I love being a part of it all.
So, to all you theatregoers out there, I have one message: come and see the show! With its amazing production, great songs, and lots of laughter, it's an experience you won't want to miss. Trust me – you'll be in for a treat! 🍫✨
