The County Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (CAODS), based in Lincoln, is one of Lincolnshire’s leading musical performance charities.

 

We were delighted to celebrate our 75th Anniversary in 2024! For 76 years, we have made our home at Lincoln’s beautiful New Theatre Royal, where we have staged some of the world’s most beloved musicals.

Our most recent production was the family favourite, Annie in 2025. We produced the first local production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd in 2022 and EVITA in 2019, showcasing the county’s outstanding singing, acting and dancing talent, playing to sell-out audiences and to huge critical success.

We are immensely proud of CAODS’ rich history of producing 83 high quality shows for the people of Lincolnshire and further afield since 1949.We look forward to welcoming you to one of our next performances.
