The County Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (CAODS), based in Lincoln, is one of Lincolnshire’s leading musical performance charities.

We were delighted to celebrate our 75th Anniversary in 2024!
For 75 years, we have made our home at Lincoln’s beautiful New Theatre Royal, where we have staged some of the world’s most beloved musicals.
Our most recent production was the Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece, Sunset Boulevard in 2024.
We produced the first local production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd in 2022 and EVITA in 2019, showcasing the county’s outstanding singing, acting and dancing talent, playing to sell-out audiences and to huge critical success.

We are immensely proud of CAODS’ rich history of producing 82 high quality shows for the people of Lincolnshire and further afield since 1949.
